۱ مقدمه
RAST § راست یک افزونه مرورگر برای بهبود خوانایی و نمایش صحیح نوشتههای فارسی، عربی، راستبهچپ و دوزبانه در صفحات وب است.
این سیاست حفظ حریم خصوصی توضیح میدهد که افزونه به چه اطلاعاتی دسترسی دارد، این اطلاعات چگونه پردازش میشوند، چه تنظیماتی بهصورت محلی ذخیره میشوند و کاربران چگونه میتوانند اطلاعات خود را کنترل یا حذف کنند.
RAST برای ارائه قابلیت اصلی خود، مقدار محدودی از اطلاعات را فقط روی دستگاه کاربر پردازش میکند. توسعهدهنده اطلاعات کاربران را روی سرور خارجی دریافت، جمعآوری یا ذخیره نمیکند.
۲ اطلاعاتی که افزونه پردازش میکند
RAST برای تشخیص و اصلاح جهت نوشتهها ممکن است اطلاعات زیر را بهصورت محلی پردازش کند:
محتوای وبسایت
RAST متنهای قابلنمایش و عناصر مرتبط در ساختار DOM صفحه را بررسی میکند تا مشخص شود محتوا باید بهصورت راستبهچپ، چپبهراست یا ترکیبی نمایش داده شود.
این پردازش فقط داخل مرورگر کاربر انجام میشود. متن صفحات، تصاویر، مقادیر فرمها یا محتوای وبسایت برای توسعهدهنده یا سرور خارجی ارسال نمیشوند.
ارتباطات شخصی
اگر RAST روی سایتی حاوی ایمیل، پیام، نظر یا گفتوگو استفاده شود، متن قابلنمایش آن ارتباطات ممکن است مانند سایر محتوای صفحه و فقط برای تشخیص جهت نوشته، بهصورت محلی پردازش شود.
RAST محتوای ارتباطات شخصی را ذخیره، ارسال، کپی، خریدوفروش یا با اشخاص ثالث به اشتراک نمیگذارد.
اطلاعات وبسایت و دامنه
RAST نام دامنه سایت فعال را میخواند تا بتواند تنظیمات هر وبسایت را بهصورت جداگانه اعمال کند.
اگر کاربر افزونه را برای سایتی فعال یا غیرفعال کند یا یک قانون دستی برای بخشی از صفحه بسازد، نام دامنه ممکن است در حافظه محلی افزونه ذخیره شود. RAST سابقه مرور کاربران را روی سرور ثبت یا به پروفایل رفتاری تبدیل نمیکند.
قوانین و تنظیمات ساختهشده توسط کاربر
RAST ممکن است اطلاعات زیر را بهصورت محلی ذخیره کند:
- وضعیت فعال یا غیرفعال بودن افزونه برای هر سایت
- نام ناحیههایی که کاربر بهصورت دستی انتخاب کرده است
- انتخابگر CSS عناصر انتخابشده
- جهت ترجیحی متن
- محدوده اجرای قانون روی عنصر یا زیرشاخههای آن
- تنظیمات مربوط به متنهای ترکیبی
- زبان رابط کاربری
- انتخاب تم روشن، تاریک یا خودکار
- تنظیمات نحوه نمایش پنجره افزونه
این تنظیمات از طریق chrome.storage.local ذخیره میشوند و روی دستگاه کاربر باقی میمانند.
۳ نحوه استفاده از اطلاعات
RAST اطلاعات را فقط برای اهداف زیر پردازش میکند:
- تشخیص متنهای فارسی، عربی، راستبهچپ، چپبهراست و دوزبانه
- اعمال جهت و تراز مناسب
- اصلاح نمایش متنهای ترکیبی
- اسکن محتوای صفحه با درخواست کاربر
- اجرای قوانین ذخیرهشده روی ناحیههای انتخابی
- بهخاطر سپردن تنظیمات کاربر
- فعال یا غیرفعالکردن افزونه برای هر سایت
- پشتیبانی از محتوای نمایشدادهشده داخل فریمها
اطلاعات برای تبلیغات، بازاریابی، تحلیل رفتار، پروفایلسازی، اعتبارسنجی مالی، اعطای وام یا اهداف نامرتبط استفاده نمیشوند.
۴ انتقال اطلاعات
RAST محتوای وبسایت، ارتباطات شخصی، اطلاعات مرور، قوانین ذخیرهشده یا تنظیمات کاربر را برای توسعهدهنده یا سرور خارجی ارسال نمیکند.
این افزونه فاقد سرویس تحلیل آماری، شبکه تبلیغاتی، سیستم ردیابی، تلهمتری و ابزار جمعآوری داده شخص ثالث است.
تمام مراحل تشخیص متن و اصلاح جهت آن روی دستگاه کاربر انجام میشوند.
۵ فروش و اشتراکگذاری اطلاعات
RAST هیچیک از اقدامات زیر را انجام نمیدهد:
- فروش اطلاعات کاربران
- اجاره اطلاعات کاربران
- اشتراکگذاری اطلاعات با اشخاص ثالث
- انتقال اطلاعات به تبلیغکنندگان یا کارگزاران داده
- استفاده از اطلاعات برای تبلیغات شخصیسازیشده
- استفاده از اطلاعات برای اعتبارسنجی مالی یا اعطای وام
- فراهمکردن امکان مشاهده محتوای صفحات یا پیامهای شخصی توسط توسعهدهنده یا افراد دیگر
۶ کد راهدور
RAST هیچ کد راهدوری اجرا نمیکند.
تمام فایلهای JavaScript، CSS، فونتها، آیکنها و منابع اجرایی موردنیاز داخل بسته افزونه قرار دارند. افزونه از اسکریپت خارجی، ماژول راهدور، ()eval، کد اجرایی دانلودشده یا WebAssembly راهدور استفاده نمیکند.
ممکن است افزونه شامل پیوندی اختیاری به وبسایت توسعهدهنده باشد. بازکردن این پیوند فقط با اقدام کاربر انجام میشود و برای عملکرد افزونه ضروری نیست. وبسایت مقصد ممکن است سیاست حفظ حریم خصوصی مستقل خود را داشته باشد.
۷ مجوزهای مرورگر
RAST ممکن است مجوزهای زیر را درخواست کند:
Storage
برای ذخیره محلی تنظیمات، ترجیحات، وضعیت فعالبودن برای هر سایت و قوانین ناحیههای انتخابی استفاده میشود.
Active tab
هنگامی استفاده میشود که کاربر پنجره افزونه را باز میکند یا با آن تعامل دارد تا RAST بتواند صفحه فعال را شناسایی کند، وضعیت را نمایش دهد، اسکن را اجرا کند یا ابزار انتخاب ناحیه را فعال کند.
Web navigation
برای شناسایی فریمهای موجود در تب فعال استفاده میشود تا اصلاح جهت نوشتهها روی محتوای پشتیبانیشده داخل فریمها نیز انجام شود. این مجوز برای ساخت یا انتقال سابقه مرور استفاده نمیشود.
دسترسی به وبسایتها
RAST برای بررسی متنهای نمایشدادهشده و اعمال اصلاحات راستبهچپ، چپبهراست و ترکیبی به صفحات وب دسترسی نیاز دارد. این دسترسی فقط برای قابلیت اصلی و اعلامشده افزونه استفاده میشود.
۸ مدت نگهداری اطلاعات
تنظیمات و قوانین ذخیرهشده تا زمانی در حافظه محلی Chrome باقی میمانند که کاربر:
- یک قانون ذخیرهشده را حذف کند
- تنظیم مربوطه را تغییر دهد یا بازنشانی کند
- دادههای ذخیرهشده افزونه را پاک کند
- افزونه را از Chrome حذف کند
محتوای صفحات و ارتباطات شخصی فقط بهصورت موقت پردازش میشوند و توسط RAST ذخیره نمیشوند.
۹ کنترلهای کاربر
کاربران میتوانند:
- RAST را برای هر سایت فعال یا غیرفعال کنند
- قوانین ناحیههای ذخیرهشده را حذف کنند
- زبان، تم و تنظیمات جهت متن را تغییر دهند
- دسترسی افزونه به سایتها را از تنظیمات Chrome محدود کنند
- دادههای ذخیرهشده محلی افزونه را پاک کنند
- با حذف افزونه، اطلاعات ذخیرهشده آن را نیز حذف کنند
۱۰ امنیت
RAST میزان پردازش اطلاعات را به حداقل میرساند و اطلاعات کاربران را به سرور خارجی ارسال نمیکند. تنظیمات محلی از طریق سیستم ذخیرهسازی افزونههای Chrome مدیریت میشوند و امنیت آنها به امنیت مرورگر، سیستمعامل و دستگاه کاربر وابسته است.
هیچ روش ذخیرهسازی کاملاً بدون خطر نیست؛ بااینحال RAST با انجام پردازشها روی دستگاه و جلوگیری از انتقال خارجی، میزان مواجهه اطلاعات را کاهش میدهد.
۱۱ حریم خصوصی کودکان
RAST یک ابزار عمومی برای اصلاح نمایش نوشتهها است و برای جمعآوری اطلاعات کودکان طراحی نشده است. افزونه آگاهانه اطلاعات شخصی کودکان را جمعآوری یا منتقل نمیکند.
۱۲ انطباق با الزامات Limited Use فروشگاه Chrome
استفاده RAST از اطلاعات دریافتشده از APIهای Chrome با سیاست داده کاربران فروشگاه Chrome و الزامات Limited Use مطابقت دارد.
اطلاعات فقط برای ارائه یا بهبود هدف واحد و قابلمشاهده افزونه استفاده میشوند و برای تبلیغات، پروفایلسازی، فروش داده، اعتبارسنجی مالی، اعطای وام یا اهداف نامرتبط انتقال نمییابند.
۱۳ تغییرات این سیاست
اگر قابلیتها، مجوزها یا شیوه پردازش اطلاعات در RAST تغییر کند، ممکن است این سیاست نیز بهروزرسانی شود.
اگر نسخهای در آینده تغییر مهمی در نحوه پردازش اطلاعات ایجاد کند، پیش از آغاز پردازش جدید و مطابق با سیاستهای فروشگاه Chrome، موضوع به کاربران اعلام خواهد شد.

1 Introduction
RAST § راست is a browser extension designed to improve the readability and direction of Persian, Arabic, right-to-left, and bilingual text on websites.
This Privacy Policy explains what information the extension accesses, how that information is processed, what is stored locally, and how users can control or delete their data.
RAST handles limited information locally to provide its core functionality. The developer does not receive, collect, or store user data on external servers.
2 Information handled by the extension
To detect and correct text direction, RAST may locally access and process the following information:
Website content
RAST analyzes visible text and relevant Document Object Model (DOM) elements on webpages to determine whether content should be displayed as RTL, LTR, or mixed-direction text.
This processing happens only inside the user’s browser. Website text, images, form values, or page content are not transmitted to the developer or any external server.
Personal communications
When RAST is used on websites containing emails, messages, comments, or chats, the visible text of those communications may be processed locally as ordinary website content to determine its text direction.
RAST does not store, transmit, copy, sell, or share the content of personal communications.
Website and domain information
RAST reads the hostname of the active website to apply settings separately for each site.
If the user enables or disables RAST for a particular website or creates a manual region rule, the website hostname may be stored locally in Chrome’s extension storage. RAST does not create or transmit a remote browsing-history profile.
User-created rules and preferences
RAST may locally store:
- Enabled or disabled status for individual websites
- Names assigned to manually selected regions
- CSS selectors for selected page elements
- Preferred text direction
- Rule scope, such as one element or its descendants
- Mixed-direction text preferences
- Interface language
- Light, dark, or automatic theme preference
- Popup display preferences
These settings are stored using chrome.storage.local and remain on the user’s device.
3 How information is used
Information handled by RAST is used only to:
- Detect Persian, Arabic, RTL, LTR, and bilingual text
- Apply appropriate text direction and alignment
- Repair mixed-direction text presentation
- Scan webpage content when requested
- Apply saved rules to selected page regions
- Remember user preferences
- Enable or disable the extension separately for each website
- Support content displayed inside embedded frames
RAST does not use information for advertising, marketing, analytics, profiling, creditworthiness, lending, or any unrelated purpose.
4 Data transmission
RAST does not transmit website content, personal communications, browsing information, saved rules, or user preferences to the developer or external servers.
The extension does not include analytics services, advertising networks, tracking systems, telemetry, or third-party data-collection SDKs.
All text analysis and direction correction are performed locally on the user’s device.
5 Data sharing and sale
RAST does not:
- Sell user data
- Rent user data
- Share user data with third parties
- Transfer data to advertisers or data brokers
- Use data for personalized advertising
- Use or transfer data for creditworthiness or lending
- Allow the developer or other humans to read webpage content or personal communications
6 Remote code
RAST does not execute remote code.
All JavaScript, CSS, fonts, icons, and other executable resources required by the extension are included in the extension package. RAST does not use remotely hosted scripts, remote modules, eval(), downloaded executable code, or remote WebAssembly.
The extension may contain a user-activated link to the developer’s website. Opening that link is optional and is not required for the extension’s functionality. The destination website may be governed by its own privacy policy.
7 Permissions
RAST may request the following Chrome permissions:
Storage
Used to save settings, preferences, per-site activation states, and manually created region rules locally on the user’s device.
Active tab
Used when the user opens or interacts with the extension popup to identify and communicate with the active webpage, run a scan, display status, or start the region-selection tool.
Web navigation
Used to identify frames inside the active tab so RAST can apply text-direction processing consistently to supported embedded content. It is not used to create or transmit a browsing-history profile.
Host access
RAST requires access to supported websites so it can inspect rendered text and apply RTL, LTR, and mixed-direction corrections. This access is used exclusively for the extension’s stated text-display functionality.
8 Data retention
Locally stored preferences and rules remain in Chrome’s extension storage until the user:
- Deletes a saved rule
- Resets or changes the relevant setting
- Clears the extension’s stored data
- Removes the extension from Chrome
Website content and personal communications are processed temporarily and are not saved by RAST.
9 User control
Users can:
- Enable or disable RAST for each website
- Delete manually saved region rules
- Change language, theme, and text-direction preferences
- Restrict the extension’s website access through Chrome settings
- Clear the extension’s locally stored data
- Uninstall the extension to remove its saved information
10 Security
RAST minimizes data handling and does not transmit user data to external servers. Locally stored settings are managed through Chrome’s extension storage system and are subject to the security of the user’s browser, operating system, and device.
No method of storage is completely risk-free, but RAST reduces exposure by keeping processing local and avoiding external data transmission.
11 Children’s privacy
RAST is a general-purpose text-display utility and is not designed to collect information from children. The extension does not knowingly collect or transmit personal information from children.
12 Chrome Web Store Limited Use compliance
RAST’s use of information received from Chrome APIs complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Information is used only to provide or improve the extension’s single, user-facing purpose. It is not transferred for advertising, profiling, data brokerage, creditworthiness, lending, or other unrelated purposes.
13 Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated if the extension’s functionality, permissions, or data-handling practices change.
If a future version introduces material changes to how user data is handled, the changes will be disclosed before the new processing begins, as required by applicable Chrome Web Store policies.
The effective date at the top of this page indicates the latest revision.
