Profile

Web & Digital Designer with more than five years of professional experience across digital design, visual communication, content and marketing, CMS-based web production, e-commerce, and front-end development.

I began in digital and content design, then took on campaign execution, content strategy, visual direction and digital marketing. My work later expanded into web design and development: WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify, responsive interfaces, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and increasingly React and Next.js.

This progression gave me practical experience on both sides of digital work: understanding audience, content, brand and commercial objectives, while being able to translate those requirements into functional web interfaces and systems.

Since relocating to Italy I have worked independently while developing technical skills through structured front-end training and production projects. Recent work includes Gate NL, G Café and Opportunita.

Those projects progressively involved heavier technical responsibility: custom WordPress development, structured data pipelines, React interfaces, private user workspaces, background processes, API integrations, containerised deployment and AI-supported features.

My strongest working area sits between visual design and technical execution: how a digital experience should look, how its information should be structured, and how to turn that into a maintainable web product.

I am particularly comfortable where design decisions cannot be separated from content structure, technical constraints, user workflows, or the operational purpose of the product.

Experience

Independent Web & Digital Designer

Oct 2023–Present

Self-employed · Turin, Italy

Working independently across web design, digital design, front-end implementation, CMS development and selected digital platform projects following relocation from Iran to Italy.

The work moved from conventional website and visual design toward structured web products combining responsive interfaces, content architecture, custom functionality and technical maintenance.

Selected work includes Gate NL, G Café, PF Apply and Opportunita, from small production websites to platforms involving custom data structures, application workflows, private dashboards and AI-assisted functionality.

Alongside project work I completed structured front-end training covering HTML, CSS, JavaScript, responsive development, Git/GitHub and React, culminating in Codecademy’s Front-End Engineer Professional Certification in August 2025.

I have also developed a practical AI-assisted development workflow using coding agents such as Claude Code and Codex, used for implementation, debugging, testing, refactoring and QA while I retain responsibility for requirements, product decisions, acceptance criteria, architecture constraints and final review.

Marketing Team Lead

May–Aug 2023

German Term · Contract, Tehran

Content direction, advertising, marketing coordination and the launch of a new immigration-service offering, roughly two to three days per week.

Reviewed the quantity, quality and presentation of social content and contributed to campaign planning and visual direction. Introduced educational and current-affairs formats alongside the institute’s existing personal-brand content, including German-language and subtitled material.

Worked with the immigration team on positioning the new service: promotional concepts, brochures, service offers and supporting content. I contributed to its early promotion and client acquisition.

The role was primarily advisory and operational rather than day-to-day graphic production, with emphasis on content direction, marketing decisions and campaign oversight.

Xino Digital · Full-time, Tehran

Designed and built responsive e-commerce storefronts for international-facing products using WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify and related CMS tools.

Joined after the company’s recruitment and practical assessment process. The position marked my transition from digital and visual design into web-focused production as a full-time responsibility.

The workflow was closely tied to product testing and performance marketing: products were identified through advertising intelligence, then prepared for market testing through dedicated sites or stores. Work covered site architecture, product and landing pages, content presentation, interface design and responsive adjustments.

The production cycle was often very short (a complete usable storefront within several days to about a week), which required rapid execution while maintaining visual consistency and functional reliability.

I also handled updates, troubleshooting, performance checks and interface adjustments in HTML and CSS where CMS controls were insufficient.

Lead Digital Designer

Jan 2022–Apr 2023

ELOvisa · Tehran

Promoted to lead ELOvisa’s digital content and visual communication across social media, campaigns, promotional materials, web content, brochures and other digital touchpoints.

Worked directly with management on campaign planning, promotional priorities, content direction, audience communication and the visual execution of marketing initiatives. The role expanded beyond visual production into campaign management and performance-oriented marketing.

Campaigns were structured around business outcomes such as inbound enquiries and telephone leads rather than social engagement alone. I monitored performance, contributed to marketing reporting, and adjusted visual and content approaches based on audience response.

Also coordinated high-volume social production within the company’s established brand language, and contributed to website materials, podcast visuals, studio content, catalogues and brochures.

Working closely with the immigration and legal teams gave me practical exposure to application processes, client communication, offer structures and legal/administrative workflows, domain experience that later shaped PF Apply and Gate NL.

Apr 2021–Jan 2022

ELOvisa · Tehran

Joined through a one-month on-site internship, then moved into a full Content Designer position producing digital and social content for services, campaigns and daily communication.

Initially worked within visual directions set by the marketing manager, gradually becoming more involved in content ideas, visual presentation, campaign execution and the preparation of new service launches.

This period formed the transition between execution-focused graphic work and the broader content, campaign and marketing responsibility that became my lead role.

Simorgh · Contract, Tehran

Short-term contract across several client accounts and internal products, primarily execution-focused, completed during the more flexible later phase of my work with ELOvisa.

Most projects had established visual systems. My responsibility was creating new materials within them, adapting previous designs and producing campaign and social assets with consistent, efficient execution.

Work spanned software, education, engineering and technology businesses, including accounts active through Simorgh at the time. I also supported website and CMS content updates.

Opportunita

2026–Present

Independent academic opportunity platform

A platform bringing together opportunity discovery, structured offer information, applicant tools, resume workflows, application management and personalised recommendations.

It originated from an earlier PhD opportunity system built for Gate NL. User feedback showed demand for a broader platform covering more institutions and countries, with better discovery, filtering, personalisation and application management.

Structured around a simple journey (find, understand, evaluate fit, prepare, manage application), and organised into modular areas covering public discovery, private workspaces, matching logic, offer intelligence, email and marketing operations.

The opportunity pipeline collects data from official university sources through dedicated fetcher and adapter logic, followed by parsing, normalisation, validation, deduplication and storage as structured offer data. Official sources remain authoritative; AI is used for enrichment, interpretation, resume analysis and evidence-based matching rather than as a replacement for source information.

I have been responsible for product scope, web experience, information architecture, platform boundaries and the development workflow: writing requirements, defining architectural constraints, creating acceptance criteria, reviewing implementation, validating behaviour, managing QA and coordinating deployment.

Gate NL

May–Nov 2025

Legal, migration & digital platform

A bilingual legal and migration platform focused on Iranian users interested in the Netherlands, combining digital design and web development with service-operations work.

I designed the brand and visual system, responsive RTL web experience, information architecture and content structure, and built it in WordPress with Elementor Pro alongside custom HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

I engineered custom WordPress and PHP functionality for the platform’s original PhD opportunity system: dynamic filtering, opportunity management, university-based structures, modal interactions, tracking and internal administrative functionality. That system became one of the foundations for Opportunita.

The content side included GNL MAG, a structured publication environment built around semantic content hierarchy, multilingual usability and SEO-oriented information architecture.

Gate NL was also designed around a structured legal and migration service process rather than a traditional consultancy model, with internal frameworks defining a case journey from pre-screening through consultancy, document collection, strategy, submission, follow-up and post-visa support. I contributed to case workflow design, documentation standards, quality gates and risk controls.

G Café

August 2025

Digital menu web application

A lightweight bilingual digital menu for a newly opened café, designed and deployed mobile-first for fast use on weak connections.

The project began with a practical limitation: the café relied on printed menus, and the owner was concerned a digital alternative would perform poorly on weak mobile connections. I produced wireframes and visual variations, then built around fast loading, clear navigation, collapsible categories, simple pricing and operational ease for staff.

Built with Next.js 14 and Directus as a headless CMS so items and prices can be managed centrally without developer intervention. Deployed in Docker containers behind Nginx and Cloudflare for SSL, caching and a lightweight production setup.

Apr 2025–Present

Independent study-migration project

An independent project grown from earlier experience with immigration services and legal teams, used for a limited number of private study-migration clients rather than operating as an agency.

Work has involved client communication, educational migration guidance, digital content, website and platform management, and practical application support. It also developed domain knowledge later used in Gate NL.
